Today I was thinking about grief and this image popped into my head. While grief is never linear, it feels like it can be easier to notice the growth or changes in the journey when the waters are relatively calm. But now, it feels like grief of something pre-pandemic gets swept up in the tidal waves and I cant tell what feelings relate to that loss and what relates to the storm all around. Here’s to holding space for all the grief, big and small, with all the capsizing along the way. May our little boats shine out to each other through the storm.
